Join us in congratulating Derek Stenning on reaching a remarkable milestone—40 years with Allied Concrete! Starting in 1984 with yard work alongside the late Harold Richardson, Derek quickly transitioned to driving concrete trucks, favouring Macks over the years.

Climbing the Ranks

Derek's journey has been impressive: from Invercargill Branch 2IC in 1990 to Plant Supervisor in 2000, and Branch Manager in 2005. In 2015, he became a regional support role, travelling across the South Island and contributing his extensive experience to various branches. In 2019, he returned to his passion, truck driving, once again behind the wheel of a Mack.

Beyond the Job: A Commitment to Excellence

Derek’s commitment extends beyond his roles—he volunteers at the HWR Driving Competition and other events, reflecting his loyalty and dedication.
